Modern Slavery & Human Rights Statement

Effective Date: 4th April 2025
Last Updated: 4th April 2025

Introduction

At DPA Cloud Services Ltd, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct, human dignity, and human rights in all aspects of our operations. Although we do not meet the statutory threshold to be legally required to publish this statement under Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we believe that transparency and accountability are essential to responsible business practice.

This statement outlines our position on modern slavery and human trafficking, and the steps we are taking to prevent such abuses in our business and supply chains.

Our Business

DPA Cloud Services Ltd is a UK-based provider of:

  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
  • Hosted VoIP and telephony services
  • Disaster Recovery and Data Protection Solutions
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure management
  • Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms
  • Bespoke automation and IT consultancy

We currently operate from the United Kingdom and maintain a single, in-house controlled supply chain for all core services, hardware, and software provisioning. Our infrastructure is self-hosted and fully owned by our parent company, with no offshore labour, manufacturing, or outsourced support.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain is small, transparent, and carefully managed. It includes:

  • UK and EU-based hardware vendors and IT distributors
  • Open-source and licensed software projects (monitored for reputation and licensing)
  • UK-registered service providers (utilities, infrastructure support, telecoms)

We assess our suppliers for ethical conduct, working conditions, and compliance with modern slavery legislation. As part of our future procurement strategy, all vendors may be required to complete a Supplier Ethical Compliance Questionnaire, especially where goods or services are sourced internationally.

Policies in Place

To reinforce our commitment, the following internal policies are in place or under development:

  • Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy (internal)
  • Whistleblowing Policy – allowing safe reporting of unethical behaviour
  • Supplier Screening Policy – including ethical and legal compliance checks
  • Code of Conduct – applicable to staff, contractors, and partners
  • Staff Welfare & Equality Policy – ensuring safe, fair, and inclusive employment practices

We are also committed to ensuring our future subsidiaries and contractors adhere to these standards.

Training & Awareness

Although our operations are currently limited in size, we provide guidance to all staff on:

  • Recognising signs of modern slavery or human trafficking
  • Reporting concerns or red flags confidentially
  • Ethical and inclusive employment practices
  • Human rights principles in client engagement and supplier vetting

As our company grows, we will introduce formal training modules, especially for any employees involved in procurement or contractor management.

Future Actions

To continuously improve our efforts against modern slavery and human rights abuses, we plan to:

  • Incorporate ethical compliance clauses into all future contracts and procurement documents
  • Require modern slavery statements or equivalent from high-risk or international suppliers
  • Establish a formal review process for supplier practices and labour standards
  • Publish updates to this statement annually, or more frequently if material changes occur

Approval & Oversight

This statement has been prepared by the Managing Director and approved by the leadership of DPA Cloud Services Ltd. It reflects our ethical values and ongoing commitment to integrity in all areas of operation.
